A Blood Python wouldn't be very good for a first. I would get a corn snake. They are amazing snakes for beginners, and I veiw them as a the doorway snake, that leads into more advanced snakes that are much larger. Corns can get up to pretty good sizes. Mines still has a lot to grow and he is 2 feet already. Mines is never aggressive, very dosile, I love him to death, and he is my first. Read up on it too...
A Ball Python will not eat another snake. Ball pythons are nice and docile. They make good pets too!
Any corn snake is good for beginers. All corn snakes should have good temprements and like being handled etc.
Sure, but consider these things.1. It is not good to feed a ball python live because a live mouse or rat can kill or seriously injure a snake.2. Do you really want to change?3. Your python may not eat and become scared.
How much room do you have? How much money do you have? No lizard will act like a puppy, but most are cool to keep. Iguanas are popular and easy to care for, but they get big. Geckoes are cool but they get out if you're not careful. Talk to a pet store and see what will work for you as far as easy to care for and size - some lizards get large.
No. Snakes are solidary animals that are easily stressed in captivity. Placing two snakes in one common enclosure is not a good idea.

It depends on whether it is your first snake or you've had previous snake experience. Corn snakes are a good pet snake to start with because they can be handled come in lots of different varieties and are relitivly easy to care for. If you are more experianced something like a burmese python may appeal to you. It really all depends on your experience of Snakes. Make sure you research a snake throughaly before getting one
