A 305 is the same exact block design as a 350, the only major difference is the displacement and heads. Now, if it is a newer vehicle (1989 or newer) there could be some issues with fuel and electronics which are a little over my head.
Hayden. If its throttle body injection 1987-1994 it will be very easy. Only real difference is you will need to get a PROM chip to match the engine you have. really depends on the year of the 2 engines you are swapping. JT KILLINS

a Chevy 350 crank is a Chevy 305 crank. they have the same stroke, 3.48 inches, and are interchangable. swapping between the two cranks does not change the engines displacement
The 5.0 Liter engine equates to 305 cid.The 5.7 Liter engine equates to 350 cid.If you see somewhere that the engine is a 5.0 L, it's only the 305
