The age old question. Both engines are capable of producing amazing power. The 350 because it has a few more cubic inches should be able to be built for more power and the 350 also has more power fixes than the 327 just because it has been around more and there are more of them. For instance a 400 crank in a 350 makes it into a 383 which can be built to produce more power than either the 327 or the 350. But Chevy purists (and I am one of them ) prefer the 327 just because it was truly the first really impressive small block Chevy. The 265 and 283 were nice but the 327 was truly a mighty mouse.
no
No. The 327, is a small block.
The Chevy 327 was an engine Chevy built in the 60's. There is today a Chevy 5.3 Liter that is close to 327 Cu. In. Actually 327 Cu. In. is closer to a 5.4 Liter as it is 5.385 Liters. In addition, AMC also produced a 327 cid v-8 for a period of time
NO. It is a 325 cubic inch engine. Not a 327
Yes it is.
A Chevy 327 cubic inch engine is the equivalent to 5.3 liters. This is the size of the combustion chambers in the cylinders.

a 350 or 327 that is the question. A 350 or a 327
You mean what does 327 mean? It's stands for 327 cu. inches. As in the displacement of a motor.
Yes, and well.
Yes, it will fit.
Chevy still has NOT reproduced the 327 CID engine. It is NOT used anymore. Alot of people call the 5.3L smallblock chevy a 327 and it is NOT a 327. It is a 325 CID / Cubic inch desplacement engine and that is 2 cubic inches smaller then a 327 engine. That is NOT much but it still is not a 327
