Ford's fusible links are usually connected to the battery side of the starter solenoid.
You can buy an adapter to convert a side post to top post or visa versa.
Bank 2 is the drivers side of the engine in your Crown Victoria
On a 2000 Ford Crown Victoria : Bank 1 is the passenger side of the engine , Bank 2 is the drivers side
just look under the hood , passenger side , its a box with 2 voltage producers + & - good luck :)

You can buy and adaptor to connect the top post cables to a side post battery. Or you can simply replace the side post cables with top post cables.
It is a side post.
There are two sets one in located under the dash on the drivers side, the other is under the hood just above the battery.
Left side AKA Drivers side.
There are two boxes the first is located under the drivers side dash on the left side under the removable cover, the second is located under the hood above the battery.
