A BA from a private college is as good as one from a university.

There are many great colleges and universities that are private. The critical issue in the institutions accreditation. When searching and/or choosing a college or university, always make sure the school has a regional accreditation. With a regional accreditation, you can be assured the coursework and degree you complete will be recognized by all other colleges and universities as well as employers.
