No. Bedbugs are parasites that infest bedding, as the name suggests, and will bite people who sleep there, but the bedbugs don't live ON the people.

Lice are parasites that live on animals and people, especially in hair.

No. Bed bugs and dust mites are definitely NOT the same thing. Bed bugs are large enough to see with the naked eye; they tend to live in mattresses and other upholstered furniture (sofas, chairs) They come out at night and their bites cause red painful marks. Dust mites also tend to live in mattresses pillows, carpets and other upholstered items. They are microscopic - you cannot see them with the naked eye; they feed on dust - which is mostly tiny flakes of dead skin from us, our pets. As far as I know they do not bite humans, but because they are so tiny you might breath them in, causing an allergic reaction in some people. It is estimated that on an average night at least 98% of people's beds in use in any country have dust mites living in them, whereas on any one night on average less than 2% of people's beds in use in any country have bedbugs living in them as well as dust mites.

No.

Dust mites are microscopic creatures that are classified as arachnids, related to Spiders and scorpions.

Bed Bugs, im pretty sure are a form of beetle. but in any means they are true insects and not arachnids, and therefore are not related in any way to the dust mite.

No. Dust is small particles of "stuff" ... tiny flakes of dead skin, very small pieces of rock, etc. Dust mites are tiny arthropods.

Is BED BUg harmful?

if you are thinking about the dust mite they are harmless they eat your dead skin that has falling off <><><><> True- but Bed Bugs are not dust mites- they are a parasite that feeds on blood from biting their host. In MOST cases the bite is not dangerous, but does cause irritation and itching. In a VERY few people that are sensitive to the saliva of the bugs, shock similar to a bee sting reaction can occur. There is no known disease transmission by bedbugs. So sleep tight, don't let the bed bugs bite- but if they do, take you shoe- and whack them 'til they're back and blue! See Wikipedia for more info on bedbugs.
