It would be hard, since dogs originate from wolves and coyotes etc. they're meant to eat meat and turning them into vegetarians would be trying to change the way a dog's system is designed. They can eat certain vegetables but they shouldn't live on them alone and it shouldn't be the main part of their diet.

∙ 11y agoDogs are carnivores, and do best on a diet of meat. It's possible to feed them vegetable products and a lot of commercial dog foods are mainly derived from plant sources. But no, in nature they are not even slightly vegetarian, or even omnivorous.
