* * A war.
The founding fathers could have created a country where the government was more powerful than the people ( a strong government ) But they recognised that such a government was what they were rebelling against. So to prevent powerful men, such as themselves, from controlling the country they created a system where the government had to seek the population's approval to govern every four years. This is in contrast to what happened in Nazi Germany, the USSR, and so many others. Now read a newspaper and watch the news, are these principles being eroded?
it is to serve the well being of the country
The Founding Fathers created the United States government in a way that would keep each branch of the government from having too much power. Each branch--Legislative, Executive, and Judicial--has power over the other two. This keeps the government from being controlled by one sole part of our country's government.
a strong government has the power to make laws for the whole country and this political system is adopted by the United States,however a weak government has no the power to make laws or even to decide for the whole country this polictical system was adopted by the united states before writing the constitution.

The US government was created by fed-up Englishmen who wanted a change from the oppressive monarch of their country. The original document was the Articles of Confederation, but they added the Bill of Rights to that. Over the years, we have evolved a long Constitution, constantly being "edited" by the addition of new amendments.
