Nope - members of the King snake family are non-venomous.
the gray banded king snake or corn snake
Nope - they are completely different species !... In fact - the king snake would view the corn snake as food !
Blind snakes and occasionally mice under the right conditions
Assuming you mean a Grey-banded King snake - they make pretty good 'pets'. They have a good temperament and don't mind being handled (so long a you don't 'overdo' it). Remember though - no reptiles truly become 'pets' (as a dog would) - reptiles will always retain their 'wild' streak.
It sounds like a king snake, they are harmless. I cant tell you what kind it is because it depends on were you live.
Some reptiles mimic venomous snakes - as an example, the (harmless) banded king snake has the same coloured bands as the coral (highly-venomous) snake. They're just arranged in a different order. Since both snakes live naturally in the same area - the banded king snake is avoided by most predators because of its resemblance to the coral snake.
There are quite a few - such as the Banded King-snake, which is patterned with the same coloured bands as a Coral snake - but the order of the colours is different.
There are several different types of black snakes with white rings. I'll list those that I know of: Death Adder Stephen's Banded Snake Bandy Bandy California Mountain King Snake Long Nosed Snake I can't really think of anymore right now, but try typing these names into Google image search and see if you recognise any of these.
Assuming you meant 'Coral' snake - there are a few rhymes around to help you remember how to distinguish one from a banded king snake... Red touches yellow, kill a fellow - Red touches black, venom lack - is one example. With a king snake, the bands are in the order Red-black-yellow-black (this repeats along the length of the body) - while in coral snakes the order is red-yellow-black yellow
