It could mean that. Or it could mean he's scared or trying to hide something. Maybe he just doesn't know what to say. Why do women always assume the worst? Maybe he's trying to find out if YOU're interested. Maybe he's trying to see if you want to talk to HIM and maybe he's wondering why YOU don't come up with something to say. I'd say that if he's talked to you 4 times, he's probably at least a little interested in SOMETHING about you.
