Use the highest measured IU's for Vitamin E Oil only. Put it directly on the sunburn without bathing the skin. Put is on often as soon as it soaks in. Usually the next day the burn will begin to heal rapidly and not a lot of peeling. I read this at MD Anderson in the skin cancer center that if you can heal the sunburn without peeling you reduce the damage and it gave this treatment. Use Tylenol for pain. Aloe Vera only works immediately after the burn. Sunburns occur over a period of time so by the time you realize you are sunburned, it has been several hours so it won't work. I used this on my young children and myself and it works every time.
Can you apply peppermint to your skin? If so how much? Can you please send me any info on what peppermint helps and how to apply it. Thanks J
NO
As energy has no mass, it is not a matter. Hence, it is neither a compound or a mixture.
Vitamin E is an anti-oxidant which is very soothing if applied to a burn. (But can be sticky and difficult to apply to the skin in its pure form)
Mix one drop of camphor oil to one tablespoon of coconut oil to apply to hair. Apply this mixture daily and massage in. Leave the mixture in your hair overnight and wash well the next morning.
Lead is a chemical element, not a mixture.
You can, but it will most likely make you break out really badly.
I have had direct experience using this for client care and hearing uniformly positive feedback. One DOES NOT , however, apply pure peppermint oil- far too harsh. Making a strong peppermint tea (say 4 bags to a pint) and apply compresses and as a wash to the affected area as needed. One could add a very well mixed DROP of therapeutic grade peppermint essential oil, which is widely available. This is a situation where "more is not better". Other oils may be caustic, and essential oils use necessitates at least SOME education and awareness, so I would caution not to experiment. A drop of lavender essential oil could be helpful, added to a water infusion, but peppermint seems to win all around for most .
It is always harmful to take to much of one drug, so the same thing will apply , to much of vitamin B5 will be very bad for the person.
Um probably but the cat will likely just lick it off.
The best thing to apply to a burn to prevent scarring is Vitamin E oil. This can be bought at the drugstore and comes in capsule form. The capsule can be opened with a pin.
You should never apply an essential oil directly to your skin as they are highly concentrated. However, if it's contained in a carrier oil with a ratio of 1 drop peppermint oil per 1 tsp-tbsp of carrier (coconut, olive etc.) then yes it's perfectly ok, but peppermint oil will always tingle/burn slightly due to its menthol content. Different peoples skins are more sensitive to peppermint oil than others so test it on a less sensitive part of your skin first, (wrist, neck, cheek) and use a less concentrated ratio if you experience irritation.
