yes, you do need a passport. in Canada, if you go out of the country, you need a passport. when i got my passport, i went to Blacks, and asked them about the passports. they gave me all the answers that i needed. they ill also take your picture, so its pretty easy.
yes indeed you do
yes or you can get the passport card that will let you get into the Bahamas
Not if you are a U.S. citizen, but, I would get one anyway!
Yes, if you have a passport.
Yes you do.
Yes. You should travel with a passport to all foreign countries.
If you are a US citizen and plan to cruise to the Bahamas, you will need either a passport or a certified copy of your birth certificate and a government-issued photo ID.If you're planning to fly to the Bahamas, you will need a passport.
According to the U.S. State Department:The U.S. Passport Card can be used to enter the United States from Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Bermuda at land border crossings or sea ports-of-entry and is more convenient and less expensive than a passport book. The passport card cannot be used for international travel by air.So if you are going to the Bahamas by boat, you can use a Passport Card, but not if you are flying.
no not at all By: Keith Edit: Keith is incorrect as of June 1, 2009. You will need a passport to fly into the Bahamas, or a passport card to sail to the Bahamas. You can check the answer athttp://travel.state.gov/travel/cis_pa_tw/cis/cis_989.html
Usually no. They just check you passport for validity and all other needed papers. But generally no.
To travel to the Bahamas from the United States you will need a passport (booklet form) if you are traveling by air. If you are traveling by sea, then you can use a US passport card, "enhanced" drivers license or "enhanced" non-driver ID. A birth certificate is not valid for international travel.
