If they're sending you to Soldier of the Month, chances are that you're not within your reenlistment window, and have a good amount of time left before your ETS date. Could you fight it? Yes, you could. But would you be better off for it is a different matter entirely. You're at a point where you're better off to pick your battles, and this one isn't worth it. Your Chain of Command can still make your life hell for the remainder of your time in. Sometimes you just have to play the game and life will be a lot easier for you.
