Yes it is. The Sonare flute has a Powell Headjoint. The most importat part of the flute is the headjoint and Sonare is a division of Powell flutes, one of the top brands in flute. (well i consider it to be one of the top three brands) I have the Sonare 7000 (recent model 700) sterling silver flute. I tried my friends Powell signature flute and it is quite similar (ie. the same headjoint, feeling, sound, tone) I have tried the 700 model but I still prefer the 7000 over 700 cause i have small fingers and the keys are alot easier to cover. The Powell Signature Flute is way easier to play on than the sonare but it is very similar. for a price like that on a flute, it is quite a deal! had it for six years and i love it.
"per sonare" means different things, one of them is: "For sound across..." I have a group of classical music, and we call "Per sonare", because we use this meaning.
To ensure your flute is properly maintained with professional cleaning services, you should regularly take it to a qualified flute technician for cleaning and maintenance. This will help prevent build-up of dirt and debris, keep the keys and pads in good condition, and ensure your flute plays at its best.
Absolutely NOT
James Galaway is a professional flute player from Ireland. Galaway has been nicknamed "The Man With the Golden Flute".
A complete mastery of the flute is required to be a professional flutist. Then one can attain a position in an orchestra.
ask them nicely and if you can play them some of the music and be polite
It may run to many thousand if you looking for a professional one.
I suggest going to a music store, and talking to a professional. DO NOT GET IT OFF OF eBay! It could be damaged! The person at the desk should give you a fingering chart and tell you about where you could take lessons if you are a beginner. If you are playing in a school band they should have a system for you to rent. But first, are you right for the flute? Only a professional in person can tell you if you are or not. Or are you looking for a B foot flute? If you are a beginner and your flute has holes on the keys I suggest buying plugs as it is very difficult to play. Do not start out with a B foot, you should wait until you are more serious about it. When you do get a B foot, you will have to get a new case. Be sure to talk to a professional about taking care of your flute! Have fun! Source(s): Band Geek :)
The 4-0 is a better made flute than the student model 18-0. The 4-0 is a low end professional horn.
To effectively clean an old flute, disassemble it carefully and use a soft cloth to wipe away any dust or debris. Use a cleaning rod with a cloth or cleaning brush to clean the inside of the flute. You can also use a mild soap and warm water to clean the exterior of the flute, but be sure to dry it thoroughly afterwards. Additionally, consider taking your flute to a professional for a deep cleaning if needed.
A student's flute is cheaper because a proffesional would need a high quality violin because of their talent and expertise. For some reason, the best can only have the best. Students aren't that educated in learning flute because they are just beginning where as the professional has studied for many years.
