Buffet all the way. the buffet family has years of experience exclusive to Clarinet development. Selmer is better known for their saxophones. I have played clarinet for eleven years, am entering my junior year of college as a music major and play on the Buffet E-11. My instrument has served me well, I am going to have to think about upgrading to the R-13 in the near future but my current instrument is in fine condition and plays extremely well.
According to consumer ratings, King Palace Buffet is better than Hometown Buffet. King Palace Buffet also has more of a variety than Hometown Buffet.
Depends ... if the orchestra is playing pianissimo and the soloist fortisimo, then the soloist would be more intense.
i love buffet clarinets! i have an R13 and it's fabulous. it is much easy to play than the plastic ones and produces a heaps better sound
Idk how you got confused on this, but the soloist and the dinky have the same body style, the soloist is just neck-thru and the dinky is bolt-on. other than that the look of the body is the same.
10 times.
Usually not but it depends what you're going to do with it and what kind you're getting. If you go to a music store that sells and rents out the instrument, they'll let you try them out and see what works best for you. Some brands are harder to play than others for some people.
At most restaurants there are a lot more options than just the buffet. You can order something you like off of the menu. If you don't want to eat buffet style, don't go to a buffet resaurant. Most restaurants offer a good sized menu with a variety of foods.
Chinese more than likely
Warren Buffet is considred an investor with a savy track record. He has proven himself over many decades.
The amount of intensity of a choir will vary depending on the number of people in the choir. For example if there are three people in a choir, they will be three times as strong as a single soloist. Fifty choir members will be fifty times as strong as a single soloist.
passage to be played by a group of violinists, rather than one soloist
That depends on how much one eats. If you are a big eater, who is often still hungry after a typical sit-down restaurant meal, then a buffet would be better. If you tend to have leftovers from a typical sit-down meal, then a buffet would likely not be a very good value for you. Of course, this also depends on where you are going. I think the average buffet cost is $10-$15 per person. If you go to an expensive restaurant, then you will be paying more than that.
