Color does not change the breed of a dog. Having said that, white Australian Shepherds should be discouraged and should never be purchased from a breeder. An Aussie that is mostly white may be a homozygous merle, also called a double merle. This means that both parents carried the merle gene. It may sound innocent enough, but double merle Aussies can be blind and/or deaf or have vision and hearing difficulties. Breeders who breed two merles together are not scrupulous breeders and aren't the sort of person you'd want to buy a puppy from. If you are interested in getting a double merle Aussie, rescues are a great place to look. Most people don't want these white Aussies because they may be deaf or blind, but they still make great pets and still need homes like any other dog. They act like any other dog, they just may need some extra care and consideration.

I am going to have to say it is an Australian Shepherd mix because of its characteristics and will to learn. Its body structure is just like an Aussie's body. Its face looks just like them. It also has a docked tail and that is a very, very common trait of an Australian Shepherd Dog. But it is white but not albino so that is why I think it is a mix.
