No instrument is easy to play at first, but it does get easier the more you practice.
No,there are accoustic Basses
One has numerous options for learning how to play an acoustic guitar. An individual can learn from music books, hire an instructor, or teach themselves by following along with YouTube videos.
Advantages: You can control the volume, making it as soft or loud as you want. It uses much lighter strings than an accoustic, so it's actually easier to play. Disadvantages: Requires an amp. Which means you have to bring an amp with you, and you can only play where there's electricity. You can't go off hiking in the woods and bring an electric guitar with you nearly as easily as you can with an accoustic. Doesn't have as warm and rich a tone as an accoustic. Generally not as suitable for, say, finger picking.
I think the type of guitar you are asking about is a 'steel guitar'.
There are a lot of books that contain easy songs to play on guitar. For example 'Absolute beginners guitar songbook' and 'Acoustic - easy guitar with notes and tab'.
it is true that it doesn't matter, but when it comes to the price of an electric and accoustic guitar depends on the brand, I've seen some accoustic guitars that are more than an electric guitar(Silvertone) that comes with the amplifier, picks, tuner, strings, and DVD. So really, when you get a guitar, choose the one that you like best and then find the best brand (like silvertone). Nope. It really doesn't matter. I think the reason most people seem to play acoustic first though is because of the cost. You won't have to go out and buy the guitar, and amp, and cables etc.. if you just get an acoustic.
well I've been playing guitar for 4 1/2 years now and i learned accoustic guitar first! now if you are aiming to play chords all you have to do is pick up a guitar book at a music store and learn the notes off by heart! or you can take lessons from someone you know! if you want to learn how to pick i would recommend searching it up if you believe it or not on youtube! the first song i learend the included picking was good riddence by green day and all i did was type ''how to play (good riddence) time of your life by greenday on guitar'' into you tube and that is what taught me!! HOPE I HELPED MIKE AYLWARD JR.

How much do chanrty accoustic guitars go for and are they any good
If you have a talent for music then learning any instrument won't be hard for you, but learning guitar, either electric or accoustic can be very hard on your finger tips until the caluses are built up on your finger tips. I tried to play accoustic guitar a few years ago. I practiced morning and night till my fingers bled and after about two weeks of practicing, finally the pain went away. Remember this and it will help you. Nothing comes for free. If you really want to learn Guitar then it takes lots of patience and practice.
There are many types of guitar effects and volume pedals. The cable from the guitar is plugged into the jack marked IN and another cable is plugged into the one labled OUT and then plugged into the Amplifier.
