No. Alpha drol is considered a "dietary supplement". That is how it is labeled and sold. Mind you that I use the word "considered". It is a pro-hormone which will like steroids affect your natural hormones, however if taken wisely and with a correct post cycle therapy (pct) meaning something to help your natural testosterone begin producing again then you should be fine. A pro-hormone does the same thing to your hormones and your body as do steroids, they just do it on a much smaller and weaker level as far as gains are concerned. Taking a pro-hormone is however harder on your liver then say the real deal (since it does not have to pass through your liver). However if you dont drink, and you take milk thistle you are most liley going to be ok. So to answer your question, no alpha drol is not considered a real steroid, otherwise it would be illegal to purchase at your local nutrition shop.
