I'm just embarking on what can now be called an affair with a married man 13 years my senior- his wife is 7 years my senior. He has no children, has no intention so far as I'm aware of having children in his marriage and has been married 5 years. I've known him 7 months know - 5 as a friend and the last two months we've slowly admitted feelings for each other though I've not slept with him. I've seen lots of things of "other women", affairs etc - but they all seem to have children. The situation here is that I love this man and I want him to leave her for me. I want to marry him and have kids with him. I don't think this is wrong - To me love is a notion and it's a question of what makes you happy. Just wanted to get some feedback on how it seems to other people. I am involved in a similar situation. The man I have been seeing is 15 years older than me and he has been married for four years. He wants to have children, but his wife doesn't want to give him any. (sex or children, I should say). We had been good friends for about two years. He eventually came to me telling me that he wanted to have a sexual relationship. I don't really want to go down that road, because I know it will be meaningless and hurtful to everyone involved. We have been going at this for about two months now, and to be truthful I can say that I think I may be falling for him, but I do not know if the same is true for him. When he first came to me he told me he had no intention of leaving his wife. Now, I'm not sure how he feels about it. All I know is if he leaves her, I will be waiting for him. Until then, I have no intention of sleeping with a married man, for sheer pity, because his wife won't give him any.
