No. Anorexia sufferers have the highest rate of death of any psychiatric illness. If you dont die from it you can suffer a whole host of problems from it from anaemia, heart conditions, osteoporosis, etc etc. Anorexia kills you slowely but surely.

You can not be healthy and anorexic. Anorexia is a disease. Starving yourself is never the answer. People think eating a lot of food is bad, but if you eat a lot of veggies and fruits then you're not going to gain weight. 'Unhealthy' is an understatement for both. Both are killers, although Anorexia probably has a higher Death Rate Both Anorexia and Bulimia can cause malnutrition, hair loss, organ failure, constipation, poor circulation. Stomach ulcers can occur. Also, both eating disorders weaken the immune system, so even easily treatable infections and illnesses can be fatal. The purging process of Bulimia damages teeth, the oesophagus and causes cuts and scaring of the hands and the face to be puffy. Its also worth remembering that since Bulimia is harder to 'spot' than Anorexia, people could end up doing relatively more harm before someone steps in to offer help. Anorexia, on the other hand, often causes more dramatic weightloss, and once fat is lost, muscle loss begins. Course, the heart is mostly muscle, and so Anorexia particularly poses a huge risk of heart failure. All in all, neither is 'healthier'. They're both serious illnesses. So please, anyone who's reading, don't try to 'get an eating disorer'. EDs ruin lives for the long term and sufferers rarely fully recover.

it is unhealthy to become anorexic because anorexic's eat far too few calories each day and due to them eating too few calories a day their organs can shut down and they can die. you need a minimum of 1200 calories a day to survive healthily but anorexics eat no more than 500 calories a day
