Genesis 19 is where it speaks of it.
Me myself, I'm a strong Christian, but I still think that people should be able to marry or date whatever sex they find attractive. (BTW im straight)
But yeah, I wish i thought the same way god thinks about it, but its hard to.

∙ 10y agoNo it is not. Sin for any religion is about choice. You can make positive choices or negative choices. Being gay is not a choice, therefore it is not a sin. However, there are still some backward religions that do not understand the latest information about sexual orientation, and will still claim that it is a sin. It is not even a sin to pursue love if you are gay, because this is a primal need of all human beings.
Hating people because you don't like they way they live their lives is a sin, however.

∙ 12y agoIf you are a lesbian an you think it may be wrong and your scared, then don't be. If you have true faith in God and you pray for help and maybe a change in heart, then he will help you. It's wrong to have affairs with the same gender or else what would be the point in even making us different genders? God believes its wrong, but he won't send you to hell for it. If you have true faith, then it isn't wrong if you really are trying hard not to be one. But if your just like, God don't give an eff, then THAT'S a sin.

No, being part of the LGBTQ+ community is NOT a sin. We are all made perfect in God's image, meaning LGBTQ+ people are perfectly normal, or at the very least not sinning because of their sexuality
