Desitin, Balmex, or another bland ointment is likely to be more soothing in the genital area than calamine lotion. The ointment will form a better barrier so that urine or feces don't irritate the skin lesions.
For minor cases, hydrocortisone cream, Calamine lotion, Benadryl capsules, oatmeal or baking soda baths.

Calamine, lanolin and aloe vera are ok.
You're better off using tablet or liquid forms of Benadryl with dogs so you can get a more accurate dose.
1ml of benadryl can have a dog for each pound.
The better question is, how do you know that your dog is having an Anaphylactic reaction?
