Sadly (I am partly Asian myself) in some places cannibalism is practiced, but it's not allowed. The police sometimes have to go on "Cannibal Patrols" in he more run-down areas. In Japan hardly anyone is a Cannibal, and the same in the more wealthy parts of China. I know poor people in Asia usually choose part-cannibalism so to not have to pay for as much food.
