Corona Varrio Locos
Norwalk is a suburban city in Los Angeles County, California. The population was 103,298 at the 2000 census. In 2009 the population was 107,698. Founded in the late 19th century, Norwalk was incorporated in as a city in 1957. It is located 17 miles southeast of downtown Los Angeles. With a handful of gangs the most common and largest gang in the city is called Varrio Norwalk. This gang is located in the southern part of Norwalk and has several subclicks such as Dukes, Nightowls, Oneways (named after a large city block containing oneway streets), Locos, and Parkside.Other gangs in the city which are not as large but are still active are Peaceful, Orange Street, Neighborhood, Carmelas, Chivas, and in the early '90's, a gang which expanded from it's hometown of east Los Angeles called East L.A. 13. None of the gangs in the city are friendly toward one another or gangs from neighboring cities and frequently have run-ins with each other which turn violent. The latest one being Steven Ramirez aka Casper, a 25-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Sunday, Nov. 7, 2010. Casper was from Peaceful, which is in the northernmost section of Norwalk which borders Santa Fe Springs.
No, Darry Curtis is the oldest in the gang at 20 years old. Two-Bit is the second oldest at 18 years old.

Moreno Varrio Locos gang is from South Moreno Valley. Primarily chicano and/or white, with no more than 40 members, with only about 10 actually considered active. Active mostly in the early 1990's they tend to be a forgotten gang in their own neighborhood. During the prime of MVL, they were known for violence in fair amounts. Due to outside gangs (primarily LA and OC gangs) they tend to be more or less inactive as of 2010.
