Not unless the dog had rabies or the bite was to a fatal spot, such as the neck.
Also be aware that a dog bite to a cat can cause an internal infection. The bite may not fester or abcess on the skin, but the infection could become systemic internally. I know this as my beloved cat died this morning after being diagnosed by a veterinarian that a healed bite punctured her lung and introduced bacteria. If your cat loses weight, is not as playful, and more lethargic following a dog bite--even weeks after the fact, there may be an internal infection that is deadly without early treatment.
Yes, a cat bite can become very dangerous to humans. The cat can leave bacteria in the wound that will give people infections. A doctor will be able to treat the cat bite with medicine.
It depends what type of cat, if it is a regular house cat, no, but if it is i wild ccat like a lion, possibly
No, a cat's bite is not poison. However, if you do receive a cat bite and the teeth have broken the skin, it is usually a good idea to visit your local doctor just to be on the safe side. Usually though, a healthy and fully vaccinated house cat is unlikely to be carrying anything dangerous to a human.
They will, ultimately, become afraid of you. Any cat is most likely to run away if it perceives you or the situation dangerous. If a cat cannot escape, it may scratch/bite prior to fleeing.
No they are not, but some people are highly allergic to cat or dog fleas, but it causes no dangerous harm to the person. They will get itchy from the bite, may have runny eyes, stuffy nose and a welt where the bite is.
it depends on the age and temper of the animals in question. Puppies generally have sharper teeth than adult dogs (so look out for nips) , other way around with cats. Also you must consider if the animals were ever strays or if they are completely used to humans. A cat bite can really hurt, but most of the time a dog bite is more serious.
no
its playing probably but im not sure, i dont have a cat. i have dogs.
Cats aren't dangerous per se but everything can be a little dangerous. Like a baby can throw toy down and parent trips on it and falls but baby not dangerous. Although cats do seem to try and trip me coming in doors but I learned do what they want. They still have instincts so if sweet cat gets tail pulled by little kid cat might hiss or turn to bite but it's instinct. Cats are as dangerous as the perception of danger the person has. I don't find mine dangerous but I think anything could be dangerous it's all perception. Philosophy lesson over!!
yes
Yes.
black pine beetle can bite if they feel threatened. Panicking is not recommended. The bite can be very painful but is not poisonous or dangerous.
They can be dangerous, since they do have teeth and can bite, but they are normally not dangerous, and are usually pretty calm.
The cat may not want to be petted.
