Well first off, it's Chile not Chili. To answer your question, Chile is one of the wealthiest countries in South America, but the Chilean economy does not exactly compare to countries like Germany, France, and England. Unfortunately, a massive earthquake recently hit Chile which hurt their economy and caused a recession at some degree.
