Loxwood clay pits development site is safely located on the old Pallinghurst Estate, which is approximately 1.5km to the east/northeast of the village of Loxwood, and immediately west of the A281 Horsham trunk road. This site is underlain by the Weald Clay Formation and is understood to be a principal clay resource for brick making, and it is well located for supplying several relatively local brickworks. A dedicated site access road approximately 1.2km long allows access to the Loxwood clay pit, which already runs entirely through land owned by Loxwood Clay Pits (LCP) and begins in the layby at the junction of Loxwood Road. This whole track runs north-west through Beggars Copse, before following the undesignated forestry route to the site. Loxwood clay pits are safe as there is many historical evidence which states that LCP’s land has been the site of small-scale brick-making activities for many years through the 1800s and early 1900s. The presence of a larger operation at Rudgwick significantly indicates the suitability of the clay resource at the site.

There is no road block, or any block made specifically for roads, so you can make roads out of any block. Some good ones are Cobblestone, 2 Stacked Half Blocks, Stone, since they have good protection agaisnt explosives.
