Would the impact of a comet on the Earth cause earthquakes? Possibly; it would depend on where the comet hit. But depending on the size of the comet that struck the Earth, the results might vary from "merely" very terrible indeed to absolutely catastrophic; The impact, the fallout, the tsunami (if a water strike) and/or the "nuclear winter" darkening of the skies with dust and debris would dwarf most conceivable earthquakes.
Let me put it this way; if a large comet strikes the Earth, the last thing people will be worrying about would be an earthquake.
we are not sure.
All comets have tails when their proximity to the sun is such that the icy debris in the comet is warmed enough to melt and fall away from the comet.
earth's gravity
that enourmous tsunami!
by a earthquake
The Earthquake was a 5.6 magnitude followed by 10 aftershocks.
Well there are a few things but the most common is air.Air does not fall during earthquakes.Birds do not fall during earthquakes as well.Basically anything that is invisible or that can fly does not fall during an earthquake.
there an earthquake?
No first of all because there aren't any fault lines in Egypt so there wouldn't be an earthquake in the first place but even if there was an earthquake it still wouldn't fall over
about 25 seconds
Probably a comet
My aunt so fat when she walks out in public, other people start yelling "earthquake"
