Usaly bile is what make it dark, if ure not making enought bile or your systme is clogged it can cause it. It can make you sick if your clogged up and the bile pressure cant flow out. if its continually pale all the time get checked out, could be some medcaion your taking as well, there so many drugs out there who knows what they do to the liver
