Yes. You can get the Depo in your stomach it is a lower dose but is supposed to be as effective. I just got mine today because I switched doctors and could no longer get it in my arm. But I can not do anything now. I feel horrible and I cant bend down or even just lean over a little bit. And now my stomach is swallon. I doubled the size on my one side in just 5 hours. I would not recomend getting it until you really talk to your doctor.
I've been on the depo shot for a year now. I do get some cramps, expecially around the time I'm supose to have a period
