Dictionary boss installed some ADWARE which is Malware. It takes control of your browser, IE, Firefox, etc. It was very difficult to remove. Microsoft Essentials did not detect it since it is not a virus. Malwarebytes anti-malware did detect it but repeated attempts to remove it failed. It cannot be removed from the control panel remove programs - it does not even show up there. I removed most of it (121 of 125 items relating to it) by restoring the computer to a prior restore point. I deleted the other 4 items manually. I believe I have eliminated it.
Note: I am sure that many other anti-malware programs would also have detected it. But no one anti-virus or anti-malware program is perfect and catches everything.
