If you are child the answer is yes, actually. Why? Because when you are a child your body still needs to build an immune system and completely being shielded from any germs whatsoever will keep your body from building itself from diseases to even things such as the common cold. That does not mean that it should be made into a meal and I do not mean for you to feed it to them intentionally because as they are children they will eat things they are not supposed to. But for an adult to even just plain want to eat dirt I would worry that there might be something psychologically wrong with them ( I apologize if this question was in reference to you, but if that is the case then you might want to think about why you want to eat dirt).
