hi. i have made facial scrubs with virgin coconut oil and epsom salt and it works very well. just make sure you stir up the scrub well before you use it.
i didn't find it drying at all. also i scent the epsom salts with a few drops of essential oil lavender is nice, and use this as a scrub in the bath. i just get wet and then stand up and take handfuls and scrub. i scrub my face too.
