Heredity is a scientific concept. "Evil" is not. Therefore, on the surface, the question is meaningless and cannot be answered. However, applying 21st-century human reasoning to the word "evil", we can give a meaningful answer.

If we think of evil as the cause for inappropriate behavior, then we can just look at various forms of inappropriate behavior, determine their causes individually, and decide whether those causes could be influenced genetically.

The answer in almost all cases is yes, there is some genetic contribution to behavior in general, but an extremely strong genetic contribution to disorders that might lead to inappropriate behavior. Disorders such as schizophrenia and psychosis, even a tendency toward addiction, are very much influenced by genetic factors.
