i think it is bad as it is raising the sea level which can result sinking of land masses.as the name 'global warming' says that heating of the earth which can result in perishing many living organisms.hence global warming is very bad.
Global warming and depletion of ozone are two pretty close phenomenon. One causes other and vice versa.
Carbon dioxide and other "greenhouse" gases are trapped in the atmosphere due to a phenomenon referred to as global warming. Global warming refers to the constant and steady rise of the Earth's temperature.
Global warming is regarded as an undesirable and dangerous phenomenon; nobody is using it, we are trying to avoid it, but every country is experiencing it, in one way or the other.
Global warming is affecting the distribution and location of water, through reduced, or extra rainfall. Other natural resources, like minerals, etc, are not being affected.
This happens due to Global warming and other natural causes.
No, Hurricane Katrina caused flooding and terrible damage to humans and property, but it did not cause global warming. Global warming is caused among other things by man burning fossil fuels (coal, oil and natural gas) and putting greenhouse gases into the atmosphere.
In the past global warming was natural in that humans lacked the technology to have much impact. Currently the climate should actually be very gradually cooling, not warming rapidly as it is. Virtually all of the present warming is attributable to human activity. In other words, yes, people are making it worse.
Global warming The increase in the average surface temperature in the world with an increase in the amount of carbon dioxide, methane, and some other gases in the atmosphere. These gases are called greenhouse gases because they contribute to the heating of the Earth's surface atmosphere, a phenomenon known as global warming.bit.ly3vN0fl
Global warming is the main issue. It can cause various other environmental problems.
To some extent, global warming is a natural event. Carbon dioxide is a naturally occurring greenhouse gas. At normal concentrations, it, along with other greenhouse gases, helps maintain global temperatures at a level that is comfortable for humans and other animals that have adapted to the present climate. Throughout human history until the Industrial Age, atmospheric carbon dioxide levels were in the range 260-280 parts per million (ppm) and never higher than this. This is the natural part of global warming. By adding new carbon dioxide to the atmosphere, which we do by burning fossil fuels such as coal, oil and natural gas, and by cement manufacture, we interfere with the natural process and create enhanced global warming, which is not natural.
Strictly speaking there is no other name for global warming."The whole earth heating up" might be another name.Global warming is causing climate change, so many people think they are both the same, so they say:"Climate change is another name for global warming", but they are not really the same.
yes No! The polar areas are effected most. Weather patters may change in other regions and the ocean levels rise. Panda bears and most mammals have survived many ice-age cycles. Global Warming is a normal natural phenomenon, just man is accelerating it. The Earth has gone through hotter phases in the past many times.
