Its not really bad for the guitar but if you want to take it off or you want to sell it or something like that i would not recommend it
To put a guitar strap on an electric guitar, attach one end of the strap to the strap button at the bottom of the guitar, and the other end to the strap button at the top of the guitar. Adjust the length of the strap to a comfortable position for playing.

Yes. A bass strap is thicker so that it can support the weight of the bass, while the guitar strap is thinner because guitars are lighter than bass-guitars.Hope this helped :-)

it generally depends on the material that the guitar is made of if it has paint on it the tape could tear the paint if you are looking for a strap that wont fall off go to the "planet wave" web site they make straps that clip onto your guitar
It is possible to fit the guitar strap to it if it has a strap peg. The strap may or may not be too long, however. If your guitar or ukelale does not have a top strap peg, like me, then you can tie a long string or strap behind the strings, above the nut. I reccomend using a wider strap to prevent it from cutting into your shoulder.
doubt it , they're all universal , I mean your guitar MIGHT have strap locks on it to lock the strap on the guitar so it doesn't drop during shows. But besides that I've owned like 17 guitars and I've had the same BC Rich strap from ESP to Epiphone
It depends on how it is attached...
Strap locks work by means of a washer. A washer is placed in the narrow, tapered end of the strap button. The wide, outside tapered end of the strap then prevents the washer from slipping, as it is screwed tight.
yes
To wear your guitar on your back, use a comfortable, padded guitar strap that allows for a secure fit. Adjust the strap so the guitar sits snugly against your back without being too tight or loose. When not in use, you can position the guitar sideways or at an angle to make it easier to access while keeping your hands free. Ensure that the strap is well attached to the guitar to prevent any accidents while moving.
