No. It's primarily indigestible to humans. Wheatgrass (a type of grass) is eaten as a juice and is considered to be healthy as a detox and a source of many nutrients. But grass eaten like lettuce from the garden isn't particularly healthy because, as already mentioned, it's indigestible to humans, and because humans are not ruminants!!

∙ 6y agoNot in it's raw form. Humans aren't cows, they don't have ruminant digestive systems like cows, therefore grass is indigestible to humans; in other words, any nutrient in grass is inaccessible to a human's digestive system.
The only "benefit" grass may have, like the growing popular wheatgrass smoothie, is when the grass is harvested as early as possible when it's most succulent, and then mashed up until it becomes a smoothie. That's about the only way people can even get some of the supposed "hundreds of nutrients" through this "detox" food.
