If it did the divorce rate would be astronomical....that or I have a very forgiving woman. No. If this person is only a friend then no it is not cheating. If you were uncomfortable about telling your significant other about meeting this friend then I would say you should not meet alone.

It depends on a lot of different things other than the drinks. Did it go anywhere? Did you plan a future get-together(date)? Are you afraid to tell your significant other? If you are sure that it was only as friends, then you shouldn't have anything to worry about. That's what's important. It shows an interest and an attempt to be deceitful and anyone who cares about his/her spouse would not consider doing something like that. If this person is a friend then there is absolutely no reason not to tell your b/f or husband you are meeting for drinks and do so. As the other posters have told you if you are being deceitful then yes it's wrong!

ANSWER:

I think not as long as it just a glass of drink with some good conversation about things, not your married life, nor your sex life, not even the last time you had sex with your spouse. The things I mention are very personal to talk to someone and it doesn't matter what other men say, it will always be very personal. But it will be a nice thing if you take your spouse or partner so that way there's no intent between the two of you.
