No. It is highly addictive & is a Schedule I drug, not a medication used to relax or calm you. If it were used to treat even severe anxiety, its use would not be linked to fetal effects, HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, violence, & crime.
it isn't really good to take any drug if you have any kind of emotional problem, because it can really escalate things... I'd suggest leaving it
