I really hope so. However many people enjoy music like rap and hip hop (not me).the last generation or today's kids' parents, listened to rock and roll like Elvis ( the king), The Beatles, The BeeGees, led zepplin and others. I'm not sure what the 30's 40's 50's music was , maybe jazz but I don't know. Any way today's generation is rap and hip hop. If you don't already see were I'm going with this, music like rap and hip hop may just be a generation thing. Every now and then you find a kid that listens to Rock Music.

It probably won't ever, and doesn't need top as there are many who are fond of the genre and there is nothing wrong with that. Also for the record, there are many rap artists who can sing (very well I might add), and sometimes even do so on their rap albums.
