Pork.
pork- bacon, sausage, and ham
A pork steak is a slice of meat from the shoulder (most common) or leg of a hog.
A market hog is typically around 5-6 months old when it is ready for sale and processing for pork production.
No. The ribs of a hog are exactly that - sections of his rib cage. Hocks are the hog's "ankles" as it were. they are two different cuts of meat.
being part of the hog/ pig family you could conisder it pork, althoug it wouldn't have the same taste as a regular pig would.
30 large or 40 smaller chops per a 260lb hog.
There continues to be feuding in the Southern United States over which part of the hog is best for making pork. Typically this debate is over using the entire hog or just the shoulder. Of course this debate is something of an apple versus orange argument. A whole hog is prepared very differently from the shoulder and typically for other reasons. My main concern here is with the shoulder. If you are interested in going whole hog there is a different process for you.
Yes pork does come from pig so does many other meats (e.g ham )
No. Enzymes are organic molecules used by organisms to facilitate certain biochemistry. Pork is the raw meat from a (usually domestic) pig or hog. They are not comparable.
Used for cooking meats, the flesh of swine is called pork.
Pork chops, hot dogs, pork rinds, roast pork, bacon and ham are the ones I know
