Only in an emergency. Dodge uses different types of coolant.

The function of the evaporator is to cool the air by absorbing heat into the refrigeration system.
The evaporator will still be cold for a while after the machine shuts down as the refrigerant works its way through the system. Then once that is done the evaporator will be moist and the evaporation of that moisture will help it stay cool for a while. And finally the evaporator is made of metal and will feel cool most of the time.
This just happened to my Durango. You have 2 fans under the hood to cool the engine and a/c evaporator. One of the fuses under the hood fuse box is blown for 1 of the cooling fans. You will be able to see the metal in the fuse is broken/burnt.
That can happen if they are low on freon.
Make sure the radiator fan is working when the AC is on.
As the coolant ravels from driver side to passenger side of the radiator, it should cool down.
Weld a larger nut over the broken bolt and let it cool. It will turn out for you.
an evaporator is a part of a refrigeration plant by which the refrigerant is made to boil at a much lower temperature and pressure. the idea is to extract the heat from the region which we want to cool. basically the evaporator is located at the region where the thing to be cooled is situated.
An air conditioner evaporator is the part of the a/c system that the heat in your car transfers to causing cool air to blow from your vents. The blower is in front of it and it sucks air from the inside of your car and across the evaporator then blows out your vents.
it has an evaporator in the fridge and it cools down the gasses and turns them into a liquid which is subzero and the the liquids cool down your food.
