This just happened to my Durango. You have 2 fans under the hood to cool the engine and a/c evaporator. One of the fuses under the hood fuse box is blown for 1 of the cooling fans. You will be able to see the metal in the fuse is broken/burnt.
The Dodge ram 1500 rough idle can because by a bad spark plug or spark plug wire. The rough idle can also because by a bad camshaft.
Idle air control valve on a Dodge ram 1500 4.7 liter engine is located near the back of the an air intake filter. The valve will be labeled for identification.
it's got a bad cooling fan
It is on the back side of the throttle body.
possibly
44-54 psi at idle.
The idle speed is computer controlled. You need to scan the pcm for faults, read it sensor data, and decipher why the idle is incorrect to repair.
The 5.7L does not have an idle solenoid. The idle speed is controlled by the throttle plate opening via its internal motor.
Sounds like the Throttle Position Sensor.
Back side of the throttle body.
most of the time its because not enough air flow thru the condensor---clean rad &cond
sounds like a bad head gasket
