Either he's hiding something or he doesn't feel comfortable with the idea of you spending time at his residence. It also depends on how long you've been dating him. A couple of weeks is not an issue, a couple of months is suspicious. Casually bring up dropping by his house on a certain day or time of day. Watch his reaction. If he gives excuses about why you can't stop by, I'd reconsider dating him. The best thing to do is ask him why. There could be many reasons. He could be embarrassed of where he lives or his parents. His parents (depending on his age) may not want him dating. The old ways of so-called courting a girl has gone out the window. The young woman would usually bring her new love to meet her parents and they would go over him with a fine-tooth comb, and you NEVER honked the horn to have your girlfriend come out to the car, but went up to the door like a gentleman. Then the young man would bring her to his home for dinner so his parents could go over his new love with a fine-tooth comb. LOL I assume for most, these days are gone, but I feel they should start coming back (if it works don't fix it) because more parents would have a clue who their kids are seeing and if they are in safe hands!

Which is right invited to or invited for?

Depends on the situation. Invited TO means you're invited to a place, like a party or a friend's house. Eg. You have been invited to a party down the road. <:D Invited FOR means you're invited for something like tea or coffee, mainly things not to do with caffeine :P Eg. You have been invited for tea by a friend.
