According to the Christian faith suicide is a sin. The Bible says to protect your body as it is the temple of the Holy Spirit, it is sinful to hurt it intentionally in any way.
according to the catholic bible suicide is a mortal sin. the bible says you should be thankful for your body and receive the sacraments.

Moreover, it is important not to despair that eternal salvation is lost to those who commit suicide. For, by ways known to him alone, God can provide the opportunity for salutary repentance. The Church prays for persons who have taken their own lives. (CCC 2283)

Yes, suicide is a sin. Although there is no sin greater than any other sin, suicide is... well, sort of like telling God "I quit."
Here is a bible verse regarding suicide:
