Yes it is legal especially in Middle East and eastern countries. It is uncommon in western countries possible out of respect for Christ, and that the person so named would not be ridiculed. But the name Jesus is like any other forename. In South America it is a common name and is pronounced Hey-Zoos.

∙ 12y agoJesus means savior. The Old Testament name Joshua also means savior. One can be a savior of something, so it's not necessarily illegal to name your son Jesus.
