I just wanted to add that when my doctor prescribed adderall to me, he said I wouldn't have to take it every day. If there are days where I knew I wouldn't need to focus, then he told me I can just skip it and it's not like the medication that you have to take every day.
That's entirely subjective. Seeing as Adderall contains amphetamine, withdrawal symptoms like irritability, fatigue, and overall moodiness are common, more so than the complete lack of symptoms that the 12 year old girl above describes.
That is a great question for your pharmacist or phyisician. Yes, and you should, especially with young children. It is preferred to take the minimal dosage for your body chemistry and to take what doctors/pharmacists call 'holidays' from your perscription. I have been taking it for 2 years and though I was perscribed 40mg a day, I only take 10 on week days or hectic schedule periods. I don't take it on the weekends, vacations, etc. since my schedule doesn't allow for me to be able to go and entire week without it every few weeks. Doing this also limits the risk of getting addicted to it. I assume your child is taking it for ADD or ADHD, make sure you talk to your doctor and test doses to make sure your child is taking the minimal amount dosage that is effective. Glad to know you are being responsible with this drug since more often then not people abuse it. Good luck.
yes it is. i have been taking adderall for almost 8 years now for ADD, and i also have dyslexia which it helps with, and I do not take it most weekends. I have never had a problem doing this and I asked my doctor and he said it would not effect the adderall's effect. I am also a nursing student and still have not learned any reason to think it would be bad for your health. I figured if it was bad for you my doctor would have told me when I told him I do not take it on weekends. BUT I will say that when I go without taking it all weekend, I sometimes feel its effects more than I do when I have taken it the day before. The longer I have been on it the less I noticed the stronger effects after not taking it all weekend. I hope this helps, and just to be safe I hope that the adderall is your prescription from a doctor after examination and being diagnosed with something that it will help with because it can cause adverse effects in people who do not need the drug, and is also illegal.
Answer: It is as long as you do not take too much aspirin. As long as you make sure you take the right amount of pain relievers/killers than it is perfectly okay to take it with your Adderall. hope this helps, Megan .********
can i take adderall with my cialis
You can take both together, although the actions of the medications will have opposite effects. Adderall is a stimulate as where percocets can make you feel tired or drowsy. Personally I take adderall right when I wake up in the morning then as my day progress and I develop pain I take percocets for the pain.
you die
Definitely.
Of course not! That would be like speed balling your child i know no doctor in there right mind would say "It's fine to take adderall and melatonin at the same time"
obviously a false positive, adderall in no way resembles the atomic structure of any benzodiazepines. get another lab test ordered ASAP so they can't say you waited too long when you do get the right results this time.
Cardiovascular conditions are a contraindication for adderall. Therefore it is a NO NO.
Only if you over do it. Moderation my friend!
Yes, it increases the effect of the methanphetamine in the adderall
None.
