Not unless the disc is also warped or the scratches are so deep, the plastic has been raised to the point where you would hear it hitting something in the drive (tick-tick-tick). Surface scratches do not hurt a player.
You either have a bad disc, or a bad reader or driver.
PS2 are on DVD discs if that is what you mean. Badly scratched Game disc can make the PS2 not know the format, but it is just a bad disc
It has a ring, but if theres more than 1 ring that's bad your disc is scratched, make sure your xbox 360 is not tilted while playing.
one of two things either the game disc is bad or the laser reader inside wii is bad. try another game and if they work its that particular disc but if they don't you laser is burned out.
Inside every CD , DVD, and even Console drive, is a reader. This reader moves back and forth at fast speeds to read what content is on a disc. This reader is the a very small box with a lens on it. AKA its metal, in some parts. So when you use a magnet on it when its trying to read a disc, it will cause your reader to not move and possibly break. Using a magnet even on a computer or on any electronic device is extremely bad for the most part. In some cases can erase everything and even destroy parts from ever being used.
It means that your disc has a bad error so it cannot read and write files. if your error is on the dvd-rw, you can erase it. if your error is on the dvd-r then you cannot erase it and you will have to bin the disc.
If it's not bad for the reader to read it. Nobody says "Oh nobody wants to read it because it is too inappropriate for him/her to read."
Probaly your connection...or the disc is scratched. Its most likely your bad connection. Try to contact your Broadband Provider. :)
The reader might not understand the complex language, or might get bored easily. Using language that engages the reader and makes them want to read on is good to use. Hope this helps :)
Its probably scratched. Wipe chrome trim polish onto the disc to fill in the gaps or maybe youre computer is too old.
Hmm. If it make like a scatching noice it means its been scratched bad. Then you should go to a certain store that can clean your disk
it depends on what the disc does when you put it in. If it simply does not read the disk then your disk drive is bad (unlikely) or the disk itself is too damaged to be read (more likely) which means you have to replace the disk. If it does not load on its own you may laso have to go into My Computer, or Computer depending on the version of windows you are using and click on the disc drive icon.
