This can reduce the life of the power adapter.
The main problem with leaving the adaptor plugged into a laptop and power is it can shorten the battery life.
This is especially true if your laptop has a Ni Cad battery.
When you require the battery for 1 to 2 hours, it may only give you less than 15 minutes.
While Lithium batteries are less prone to these problems, their life can still be reduced.
If the laptop is going to be plugged in for extended periods of time, remove the battery.
Once a month disconnect the laptop from the power and place the battery back into it.
Run the laptop on the battery until you get a warning low battery beep.
Connect the power back up to the laptop and let it charge overnight.
Remove the battery the next day and leave it out until the next month or until you need to use your laptop without a power connection - whichever comes first.
Follow this procedure and your battery should last 3 to 5 years.
If you do not and leave your laptop connected to the power continuously, your battery will likely last 2 to 3 years at the most.

No, but leaving it plugged in all the time can decrease the battery life. You should run on battery once a month.
The battery is automatically charged while the laptop is plugged into a mains socket ! You don't need to press a key to get it to do that.
It shouldn't - the laptop should be fitted with circuitry to stop charging the battery once it's full. That way, the battery cannot be overcharged. If you're always using the laptop at home (or near a mains socket) - you can simply remove the battery, and just run it off the mains.
Yes
The battery charger in a computer works by taking the electrical current in the socket and using that energy while the computer isn't plugged into the socket.
The laptop runs on Direct Current (DC) electricity from an internal chargeable battery. Even when plugged into an Alternating Current (AC) electricity source from a mains power wall socket, the AC is changed to DC electronically inside the laptop.
Everything that is plugged into the mains socket and switched on will use electricity even if it's a battery charger with no batteries in. So yes they do draw electrical power from the mains.
Your lamp could be blinking because the battery might be low so you need to replace the bulb. Or the socket its plugged into might be faulty so you would have to change the socket.
circuit diagram is the most important in electric stove plugged into the socket
I have done this before and nothing bad happened but I would not suggest doing it on a regular basis. Be aware that the adapter for the laptop will get very hot when it is plugged into the socket for long amounts of time. Another problem could be that not only the adapter overheats but other componants in your laptop may also begin to heat which could cause the mother board to not work or any other important componant that is important in the running of the computer may litterally melt down and stop working. In conclusion, if you have accidently left your laptop plugged in overnight, do not worry yourself too much just get there asap to unplug it. DO NOT regularly leave your laptop charging overnight!
By leaving things such as lights on when they are not in use. Even leaving things such as lamps, your laptop, etc plugged in to the wall socket when they are not in use drains and wastes electricity.

Yes. Well of course you can! Have you never used a laptop before? I'm on mine right now and its plugged in. There is no other way for the battery in your laptop to charge without it being off because if you plug in the charger to the laptop while its off, the battery wont fill. Hope that helped!! :)
