Yes, Failing to exercise is terrible. A kid's muscles need to grow and learn and the exercise causes bones to become more dense and strong. Also, it helps prevent fat and keeps the heart and entire circulatory system healthy.

But exercise is one of those terms that is often misunderstood. If a kid goes for a bicycle ride, plays Basketball, or even walks a mile or so to school, he/she is getting exercise.

It isn't a good idea to just sit around, playing Video Games all of the time or just watching Cartoons on TV. If you just get out and do something, you'll be a lot more healthy.
